8. Drink plenty of water as thirst is often mistaken for hunger.

10. Enjoy your food and take time to chew your food properly.

1. Make sure you warm up for about ten minutes at the start of your exercise programme.

 

2: Walk as much as possible, even if you can only manage a few steps.

 

3: Perform Tai Chi and yoga type exercises daily to enhance well-being and add vitality.

 

4: Do some weight bearing exercise three times a week to increase muscle mass.

 

5: Do something different, such as Belly dancing, climbing and sailing.

 

6: Exercise with a friend to keep each other motivated.

 

7: Exercise should be fun, so make sure it is something you enjoy.

 

8: Allow time to rest and enjoy it.

 

9: Review your exercise programme on a regular basis.

 

10: Make sure you do cool down exercises for about ten minutes.
